OUR STORY
Printed Nature 3D started in 2015 with one goal: to improve our garden's yield without using pesticides.
Inspired by the birth of our first child, we wanted to teach him about pollination, where food comes from, and the importance of creating things with purpose. That journey led to our first 3D printed products: compostable mason bee homes designed to support native pollinators.
As our experience with 3D design and printing grew, so did PN3D. We expanded into original planters for orchids, air plants, succulents, and cactuses, combining functionality with designs we created ourselves.
Today, Printed Nature 3D has grown well beyond the garden. We now bring that same approach to cosplay props, collectibles, custom projects, and other original creations. Each new product starts with an idea and is designed, prototyped, and produced with the same attention to detail that started this business more than a decade ago.
Our roots will always be in the garden, but PN3D has become a place for everything we love about designing and making.

FAQ
Who are you?
We are Printed Nature 3D, a local, family owned design and 3D printing business based in Mukilteo, Washington. What started with sustainable garden products has grown into original 3D printed designs, cosplay props, collectibles, planters, pollinator products, and custom creations.
Where do you sell your products?
You can shop our full collection through our Printed Nature 3D Etsy Shop, including cosplay props, collectibles, planters, pollinator products, and our latest original designs.
Do you design your own products?
Yes. Original design is at the heart of PN3D. We research, design, prototype, and develop our products ourselves from the ground up.
Do you print and sell STL files you find online?
Absolutely not. Every PN3D product is carefully 3D modeled by me from the ground up, then printed and hand finished. Original design is a core part of what we do. When you purchase from PN3D, you're buying something we actually designed and created ourselves.
Do you offer custom design for cosplay?
Absolutely. Custom cosplay design is a major part of what we do. Whether you need a unique prop, armor component, accessory, or something designed specifically for your character, we'd love to hear about your project.
Do you take other custom design requests?
Yes. Our custom work isn't limited to cosplay. If you have an idea for a planter, display piece, prop, functional part, or another unique 3D printed project, contact us and tell us what you have in mind.
Are your products handmade?
Our products combine digital design and 3D printing with hands on craftsmanship. Depending on the product, pieces may be assembled, sanded, painted, tarnished, weathered, or otherwise finished by hand.
Do you still make mason bee homes and planters?
Absolutely. Those products are where Printed Nature 3D started and remain an important part of our business. We're not leaving our roots behind. We're expanding what PN3D can be.
Where are you located?
We are located in Mukilteo, Washington, and ship our products across the country.
